Meanwhile I got good news from AT Jones in Albury. They have my sprinkler heads. We irrigate the trees using under tree sprinklers. There are two types of sprinkler heads - one that is easy to get and the other type that make suppliers scratch their heads and comment that they've never seen them before. As luck would have it, it was those hard to find ones which seemed to be broken all over the olive groves. Some I could fix up but many of them are just old and fallen apart so I had to get replacements. If I couldn't replace them then I was up for some expensive and challenging work swapping out the entire sprinkler. Hence why I'm really happy AT Jones called to say my sprinkler heads have arrived. Now I'll be able to give my olives a drink when they need it as well as being able to water in fertilizer.
Finally, tomorrow is bottling day and the olive for the day is Priola. If you've not tried a priola then call by the Olivery and give them a go!
